What is this project?
This is a two-day workshop designed to teach Faculty of Education students how to create digital materials. It introduces the concept of 'Vibe Coding', which allows users to build web platforms using natural language and AI tools instead of writing traditional programming code.
About the Project
Traditional coding can be challenging for those without a technical background. This workshop addresses that by focusing on the logic behind web development and using AI as a programming assistant.
The training is conducted through a "Peer Learning" approach, meaning students will be guided by fellow students who have experience in this area.
📅 Workshop Schedule Overview
Day 1: Theoretical Foundations
An introduction to basic AI concepts, how to communicate effectively with AI tools, and a general overview of web architecture.
Day 2: Practical Application
Hands-on practice where participants use AI to generate a basic web project, test it locally, and learn how to make it accessible online.
Expected Outcomes
- ✓ Participants will create a basic, web-based educational material.
- ✓ Improving digital skills and confidence in using technology for education.
- ✓ Applying the Peer Learning model in a practical setting.
- ✓ Equipping teacher candidates with the ability to design custom digital tools for their future classes.
⚠️ Important Note: As this free workshop includes hands-on practice, participants are required to bring their own personal computers (laptops). The event is open to all Faculty of Education students.
